Part of our sustainable denim line A BETTER BLUE: for the production of this Unity Slim additionally environmentally friendly washing and dyeing methods are applied.

A BETTER BLUE focuses on sustainability – from the first to the last production step. In cooperation with our Italian partners we use sustainable materials as well as innovative washing and dyeing methods.

This denim is made of Tencel™ x Refibra™ among others – an innovative technology is applied that produces cellulose fibers (lyocell) from wood and cotton scraps. Compared to the production of conventional cotton the production of this organic cotton saves a significant amount of fresh water.

The patented Kitotex®* dyeing technology and innovative washing procedures require much less chemicals, water and energy compared to conventional methods.

In 2016 Candiani received the sublicense to use the patented Kitotex® procedure exclusively for denim by the Tessitura del Salento Industriale S.r.l. / Canepa S.p.A.
