Closed presents its first completely degradable stretch jeans and jackets in a capsule collection – made of organic cotton and the innovative stretch yarn Coreva(TM). Buttons, seams and the like made of materials of natural origin.

Jacket with a relaxed fit made of strong eco denim (12 oz.) by Candiani with high elasticity (up to 28%) and with a bright wash. Fly label and ivory nut buttons dyed with natural indigo. Part of our sustainable denim line A BETTER BLUE: This jacket is made of organic cotton, the world’s first biodegradable stretch yarn Coreva (TM) and with details of natural origin. Environmentally friendly washing and dyeing methods are applied.

A BETTER BLUE focuses on sustainability – from the first to the last production step. In cooperation with our Italian partners we use sustainable materials as well as innovative washing and dyeing methods.

The organic cotton used to produce this jacket is more environmentally friendly in cultivation and processing than conventional cotton.

Buttons and other details are replaced by natural alternatives ensuring that the jeans are degradable in a composting plant – without leaving behind microplastics or releasing chemicals.

The innovative and patented stretch yarn Coreva ™ is made of natural rubber and developed by the Italian denim weaving mill Candiani. The result of the combination of organic cotton and Coreva ™ is a completely natural, plastic-free and degradable yarn.
